On the first weekend back at school, our group ventured back into central London to get some more lip-syncing shots to use in our music video. The meeting time ended up being postponed until 10am as some members of the group were tired from the Friday night before and when we first met, enthusiasm was running low. However, the shoot turned out to be productive despite this. We shot predominantly in Neal's Yard this time to get some shots of Liv singing against different coloured walls. The effect worked quite well, except that when we uploaded the footage at school on Monday, we found that the lighting was very inconsistent in all the shots. We are hoping to sort this out with the colour-correction tools however. All in all it was a good shoot, with some good performance from Liv and efficient work from the group. We now have all the footage we need to finish our video.

Half-Term Shoot
On Thursday and Friday of half-term we went into London to shoot our music video. After rising at 6am, I met Liv, Despina, George and Anisah at Finsbury Park station at 7 to take the tube down to Hyde Park. We shot throughout the day in various locations including Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Neal's Yard and got some really good footage. The day started a bit slowly as we were all very tired, but once we had eaten some food, our productivity increased a lot.
I brought the storyboard I had made along, however after several takes, it still proved difficult to get some of them perfect.
We ended up not sticking to the storyboards as much as I had hoped - partly because only me and Anisah had made them - and just took a lot of footage in the hope that we would get some good shots.
Our second day of shooting took place in Alexandra Palace. We decided that as the early start the day before actually decreased our efficiency through tiredness, we would go for a more sensible 9am meet at Alexandra Palace station. When we got there, the weather was pretty dreary, which was unfortunate as a sunny day would have made for better lighting. However, we got some good shots of Liv lip-syncing to the song and returned home positive at the end of the day.
